Can O’ Snakes

This snake is a special kind of worm.

He does a kind of special squirm.

   The worm way out west.

       The worm way more west.

          Spaghetti West.

This snake lays breast out

shakes itself under the water spout

    drinkin’ lemonade

    under the cactus shade

this snake takes the cake

            or the spaghetti you make.

         For most fierce, most venomous.

       Most cantankerous.

This worm will eat your brain.

    Here we go again.

   This snake’ll eat whole men.

Hell he’ll eat two or ten.

Lord save us from the Can O’ Snakes

the ones that live in the Land O’ Lakes

dodge ‘em fast or get out of dodge.

hole yourself up in that hunting lodge

Away from these worms, these snakes

away from the cactus shade where he bakes

hide away he does, you bet that he’ll pounce

in the coffee cans, snack boxes, he adds a whole ounce

The only way is to chop him to bits

But under the knife they bite and throw fits

Be careful you must or else you’ll fall for it
